Um, hi! Seventeen-year-old here. I feel like I should be insulted. *g*

Very nice story; I love the way you split the email text up in between Clark's actions. Kind of like he could only accept one little bit at a time- it took him that long to go from "Look, he's sending me drunk email, what a jerk!" to "I love you". (Or almost.)

Plus, I'm just a sucker for post-rift fic in general. Even after the show ends I think I can keep myself occupied for a long time by plotting how to get our woobies back together again.

This was awesome. I loved the pacing, spreading out the correspondence with Clark's thoughts.

One small thing speedbumped me, though:

he can smell Lex’s aftershave

Um, Lex doesn't shave.

Other than that, take all those comments above and apply "What she said!" to each and every one.

Oh -- I just meant aftershave in terms of the way a lot of men use it in lieu of cologne, because it's got a lighter, sharper smell. But, you're right, he sure doesn't! Anyway, glad you liked the story! *bounces*
