Taking stock.
I am strong: I woke up at seven thirty this morning.
I am weak: I have only managed to write three pages since then.

I am strong: I have not had any coffee or caffeinated beverage today.
I am weak: The cigarettes can hardly be counted.

I am strong: I cleaned my home.
I am weak: I did this to avoid doing work.

I am strong: I had breakfast.
I am weak: It was half a can of pringles.

I am strong: I am not watching any of my movies or dvds right now, despite how much I wish I was.
I am weak: I'm watching an expose on reality shows and trying to figure out how I could possibly work it into my paper, thereby maximizing my interest in the damned thing.

I am strong: I am not napping. I will not nap.
I am weak: That last one may be a lie.

Here's an equation not even Rodney McKay could solve:

Givens:

1. I am exhausted.
2. I have to finish this final and another smaller class paper today.
3. I am, inherently, lazy and procrastinatory.
4. I have two hours of class this afternoon.

Solve for: a possibility of finishing all work, sleeping, and making time to fuck around for at least an hour and a half so as to not lose my mind.

This is hilarious, I just nearly choked on a baby carrot.

My non-McKay!genius solution: sleep now, you won't be worth anything otherwise. Go to class, outline one of the papers/brainstorm during the boring parts (if it's possible). Come home, write for an hour, dink for an hour. Eat. Work like a demon, using a reward system if you have to.

Hopefully it'll work for one of us, I have a major paper due tomorrow (22 p!) and a therapy appt this afternoon and a tummy ache.

Some of the above is predicated on the assumption that "have to finish today" means "due tomorrow" not "due at 5 pm today," just to be noted.
