Put on your red shoes and dance with me.
I am a hot house flower, that has been planted in the earth and left to flourish under the loving hand of a happy gardener. I am a once wounded dolphin, re-released into the wild to frolic happily through the waves with my dolphiny co-compatriots.

I am a Florida girl, who has spent an entire winter inside, shivering beside the radiator, and now? Now I am given the weather for which I was intended. Now I am tan. I am brown as a berry, and I am twice as sweet. Kind of.

Ahh, sun, sun, sun. Let me now compose a brief haiku, commemorating how much I love the sun, in this moment:

Oh sun! You are round!
And gaseous! I wear sunglasses
in your glare of light.

And a related sun-ku:

Those sunglasses give
me a very strange tan line.
People point and stare.

Anyway, none of that is important. No, it is merely as a sidebar to the intensity of my love for West Wing Season 2 (which I have just purchased on DVD, dear God, are there 12 steps for this kind of thing?) and Good Omens (Neil Gaiman, I will have your babies, if you so desire).

Crowley --- No one laughs at your sunglasses man.

Shadwell -- Your name is just so good.

Azariphale -- I want to pinch your angelic little cheeks.

And so on and so forth.

Sam Seaborn -- Your babies, too, will I have. Should you be un-fictional, and in any way interested in a 20 year old undergrad from New York. And not Josh.

CJ -- Like Toby, when *don't* I want to make out with you?

Toby --- My love for you remains ever so pure.

And so on and so forth.

Here's the next thing, my darling rose buds (and I have no idea why it seemed appropriate for me to type that just then, but it sure did), but I've just noticed that I've been friended by a handful of new people -- and I find myself wanting to do an old meme, all over again. Because it was fun the first time around, it'll be twice as nice now.

Let's get to know each other!

I am Nifra. I am currently *not* being fangoriously devoured by a gelatinous monster. I am, however, watching Futurama, which I love. My favorite color is purple, and I would happily live in Christan Kane's pocket, if possible. I love cheese, and many other foods which begin with C. I am not tall, but not short, and my glasses have purple frames. I like Jimi Hendrix and comic books.

Who are you? Do you eat pesto? How did you find my journal? Tell me something I don't know about you, or something I *should* know about you, and tell me what you think I should do to entertain you. *grins* I'm currently taking advice (though I make no promises as to what will happen -- though I love me some advice, I take direction about as well as a house cat.)

C'mon, y'all, simply put: let's dance!

umm, I'm your podlet. Gahd, ya think you'd remember.

You know that I eat pesto. As well as avacado, too. I like a balanced diet.

I found your journal cause you said hey, go look at my journal. Then you got one for me. Aren't you a sweetie? *cough*

Okay, so something you don't know about me.

...five minutes later...

ummm, is this a trick question?

oh! hey, did you know that I have a birthmark on my left butt cheek? no, no I do not believe you knew that. HA!

Something that you *should* know about me is that the other night I had tea with Book and we discussed River using various homilies and superfluous hand gestures. We also talked about Wash and Zoe and how they are so cute together. I think Book might not be a preacher, but that just might be surmising on my part...

And now, for advice. As if you've ever listened to me before, phhffftttt.

*dances with you*
